The Surprise Party was a party in Club Penguin that started on November 23, 2007 and ended on November 26, 2007. It was the first ever "Surprise Party", where penguins could choose the theme, and has been the only one to date as of 2025. Although no mascots waddled on the island, the Penguin Band made an appearance at the Night Club as non-playable characters.

History

The party was confirmed on issue 108 of the Club Penguin Times. There was a vote where penguins could choose the theme for the November party. The candidates were the Pirate Party from April 2007, Western Party from July 2006 and Sports Party from August 2006. The winner was the Western Party.

Trivia

• Both of the other options eventually returned in some form. The pirate theme returned in April 2008 as Rockhopper's Arrival Party, and the Sports theme returned in August 2008 with the Penguin Games.
