Operation: Tri-umph (alternatively known as Operation: Doom) was an EPF operation that started on February 10, 2016, and ended on March 2, 2016. During this event, Herbert P. Bear attempted to blast the island rooms, shrink EPF Agents and uncolorize the island, using the UFO's stolen power source. During the last week of the event, players could enter the Cave Maze for the second time in an attempt to stop Herbert's plans, and retrieve the power source.

The game strings hinting the party were first discovered in January 2016.[1] On February 3, 2016, a Club Penguin Times article told of an account of unexplained noises coming from underground. On the same day, Megg also published a blog post with anagrams of what could be expected during the upcoming party[2] and ClubHerbert.com was updated.

Plot
During Operation: Crustacean, Herbert stole the UFO's power source and then went into hiding. He re-appeared a week after the aliens left with his new invention, the Laser of Doom. In a short time, however, penguins managed to disable it by starting a disco party in the Snow Forts. This did not deter the polar bear, as he soon came up with the Shrink Ray of Doom. He managed to shrink Rookie, but the second invention -- similar to the first -- did not last long. On week 3 of the operation, Herbert emerged with his latest invention, the Uncolorizer of Doom, hoping that "Penguins won't want to stay on a colorless island!"; unfortunately, he was mistaken again. After exploring a hole in the ground and waddling through an underground maze, the EPF recovered the meteor of the power source and Herbert was defeated.[3]

Trivia
- It is the sixth EPF operation.
- This operation began one week after Operation: Crustacean ended.
- A sketch of Herbert's machine was posted on the What's New Blog on January 13, 2016.
- The operation name is a pun on the word triumph and a portmanteau of the prefix tri meaning three, and umph which is an onomatopoeia of the beats of a speaker. This is because Herbert's machine is designed to have three speakers.
- It was the last EPF operation in Club Penguin.
- It was originally called Operation: Doom.
