Community News 2015 Club Penguin Wiki Awards After a brief discussion with fellow admin Hat Pop, we've decided to keep the formal process of running this year's CPW Awards. With our small community size, the ultimate decision was to keep only a handful of awards that would be the most meaningful. These include four community awards and two Club Penguin awards: Editor of the Year Leadership Award Most Improved Award Rookie of the Year Party of the Year (Club Penguin) New Item of the Year (Club Penguin) From now until the end of the month, you can nominate users (up to three, as per past years) on this page. I wanted to let all of you know that we recently completed a MediaWiki upgrade to version 1.25.2. Not much should appear different other than some bugs being fixed, as this was a security patch. Therefore, I will be looking for an experienced user to run the awards. Below are the requirements to be an award coordinator: Your CPWN account must have been created on or before September 15, 2013. You must have a clean block log on the CPW. You must be active within the community (idling on IRC does not count). With this job comes with a lot of responsibilities. Below is an outline of what you will be, but not limited to doing: Manage which awards make the cut. Manage award designs. Manage the procedure associated with voting and nominating. You will be working closely with an active member of the administration. The admin you will be working with will oversee your work. The award ballot must also be created by a member of the admin or staff who has a @clubpenguinwiki.info email address. If you are interested in this position, please apply before September 15th. You may do so by messaging me on my talk page. The Community Corner has been renovated with the intent that this is more of a social place for users. As a result of this move, a more frequently updated section for news (or other fun features) has been added, which will replace The Berg.
