The Mountain Expedition is an upcoming event in Club Penguin. It will begin on August 13, 2010. Not much is known about it. It was confirmed in the 250th issue of the Club Penguin Times.
It has also been confirmed, from a comment on the What's New Blog, that it is not going to be hosted on the Tallest Mountain.[1] It also is said that it has lots of surprises for members.[1] It has been confirmed that it shall be hosted at the Ski Village to begin the climb so that we can check out the rumors coming from up there.

Two brave jetpackers reported to the Club Penguin Times with some observations from their latest adventures. "We were flying around up there and we saw something out of the ordinary." one sky guy told us mysteriously. "That's right," the other confirmed. "Our jetpacks don't let us get high enough to see what it was. But there's something up there, that's for sure..." "We'll need to climb to the top of these mountains and get to the bottom of all those mysterious rumors coming from up there!" Preparations for a Mountain Expedition have begun. Head to the Ski Village on August 13 to take on the challenge of the climb!
