The Great Snow Race was a party in Club Penguin. It was confirmed in the July 2011 Parent Update. Construction started on August 18th, 2011 and the party itself started on August 25, 2011. On August 18, 2011, Happy77 released a video showing sneak peeks of the party.

The party took place on the Toughest Mountain, as Herbert had been hiding out there. The EPF invaded his hideout, and put Herbert into hibernation. It ended on August 31, 2011.

Glitches

• During the event, there was a glitch where some Mini Games were unresponsive to the keyboard control. It included the Field-Op mini-games too. In-game, the keyboard worked as normal. This was believed to happen only to users of Google Chrome as other browsers worked fine.
• If you stood on the number "4" on the Ski Village, you would go to the Dock.

Trivia

• This was that last party to not feature a mascot until the Monsters University Takeover, excluding Herbert's appearance as he was not yet a mascot.
