The Star Wars Takeover is an upcoming party on Club Penguin. It will start on July 25, 2013 and will end on August 13, 2013. [1] This would be the third takeover party of the year after Marvel Super Hero Takeover and Monsters University Takeover.
History
The first sign of a Star Wars party was in June 2013, when a space background appeared on clubherbert.com. It wasn't the background that had anything to do with Star Wars, but the print at the bottom of the page that had "STAR WARS" in it.
Trivia
- Disney bought Lucasfilm, the company behind the Star Wars franchise, in October 2012. [2], which is really why the party is held.
