The Grand Opening of the Lighthouse after the donation.

The T-Shirt is given to those who donated 750 virtual coins.

During the Lighthouse Donation in 2006, the Lighthouse and the Beach were being constructed/discovered. Penguins could donate up to 750 coins through the newspaper to the construction. In return for their donation, a penguin would receive a Lighthouse Donation Jumper and a revered red-and-white striped shirt. Since the donation happened a long time ago and you had to donate the maximum choice, the item was considered as "rare". This was compared to Coins for Change.

Trivia

  • When you deliver the Be My Buddy mail to someone, it will have a penguin on the postcard which has the shirt from the Lighthouse Donation.
  • Before this donation, the Lighthouse looked very different. You couldn't go inside, and there was a sign taped on the door which said "Coming Fall 2006"
