Tour Description
"This is the Everyday Phoning Facility, which is ACTUALLY a secret entrance to the Elite Penguin Force Command. That's technically classified. But if you've got what it takes... answer the call and become an agent."

The Everyday Phoning Facility was a building in the Ski Village that replaced the Sport Shop after the Popcorn Explosion. Anyone who received a special postcard was able to take the recruitment call from the Director. Any Elite Penguin Force Agent was able to use a lift to get to the EPF Command Room.

History

Shortly after the Popcorn Explosion, the Everyday Phoning Facility was announced in the Club Penguin Times on May 27, 2010. Construction on the Everyday Phoning Facility began on May 25, 2010, two days before it was officially announced. Although it was named the Everyday Phoning Facility, one cannot phone anybody with the telephone.

On May 31, 2011, it was damaged by Herbert and was quickly repaired. Herbert destroyed it again on November 14, 2012 which started Operation: Blackout. After Herbert was defeated, the EPF Reconstruction started. The empty facility was turned into a work office on August 8, 2013.

Involvement in Game

In its last iteration, it served as a "work office" of sorts. Its role on the island was not always important -- but in the Club Penguin Times (August 19, 2010), there was an article on how the Facility became more popular for no apparent reason. Even though there was supposedly nothing to do in there, penguins came in and out of it all day. Secretly, it served as the Elite Penguin Force headquarters.
