Kermit is a character from The Muppets. He made his first Club Penguin appearance as a mascot during the Muppets World Tour. Players who meet him are able to obtain a background.
History
In-game
It was first confirmed that Kermit and his friends were going to visit Club Penguin by Cadence. On March 20, 2014, Kermit and the other Muppets arrived to Club Penguin and he was interviewed by Aunt Arctic before the party. He walked around and added penguins during the Muppets World Tour. Before the party, some penguins added him via a glitch.
Development
Kermit was first found in the game files around one week before the Muppets World Tour started. As a result, it was confirmed that he would be a mascot for the Muppets World Tour.
