Mascots

Famous Penguins (also known as Mascots) are non-playable characters that fit into the Club Penguin storyline. Most of them hand out a special free item. For example, Rockhopper gives out an autographed background, along with The Penguin Band, Cadence, Aunt Arctic, Sensei, Gary the Gadget Guy, Rookie and PH. Normal penguins can also become famous by making videos or having websites.

	Rockhopper	In October 2006, Rockhopper was the first mascot that waddled around the island. He is a friendly pirate captain who helps the residents however he can. He brings us many of his treasures to buy, such as the Red Puffles, outfits, furniture, and in 2009 he had brought over plants from Rockhopper Island.
