Astro Barrier is a game that is located in the Dance Lounge, next to Thin Ice and is styled around a classic arcade game. Many penguins confuse it with some other games.

Controls
Press the left and right arrow keys to move your ship. Pressing the Space Bar will shoot, but the player has limited bullets, ranging from three to eight.
Trivia
- During the April Fools 2008 party, Astro Barrier and Thin Ice were shut down and replaced with Thinicetrobarrier.
- During the 2008 Christmas party, penguins could play Astro Barrier and Thin Ice on a TV.
- Astro-Barrier was the first arcade game on Club Penguin, second is Thin Ice.
- There is an Astro Barrier T-Shirt.
- There is once an Astro Barrier Ship Pin.
- Astro-Barrier may be a parody of the Starship: Galaxy arcade games in the 1970s and 1980's.
