The Inflatable Duck is a rare body item in Club Penguin. All players were able to obtain this item for free in the 10th Anniversary Giveaways during the 10th Anniversary Party. It was a free item to all penguins at the Summer Party 2006 and at the Water Party in 2008. If you wear the Yellow Duck with or without the Water Wings and dance, you'll start swimming. You can also use the duck to swim while in water to get the Go Swimming stamp. Similar items are the Blue and Green Ducks.
History
The Inflatable Duck was released as a free item for the Summer Party 2006 on June 13, 2006, and it was re-released for the Water Party 2008. Ever since 2006, it has been quite popular during the summer, especially at Summer and Water Parties. However, each year it is seen less and less, as older penguins who obtained the item quit playing Club Penguin. A resurgence of popularity arose in August 2010 after Stamps (and the Go Swimming stamp in particular) were released. After seven years, it returned as a free item on October 14, 2015 for the 10th Anniversary Party.
