There is a Computer Desk furniture item which is very similar to the laptop, which could be found in the Better Igloos catalog. Similar items are the Golden Laptop and Lime Laptop.
History
The Laptop was released in the September 2009 Penguin Style catalog. Its price tag of 1800 coins made it the most expensive clothing item in Club Penguin until the release of the 3000-coin Doom Drone in 2012.

Trivia
- The design is similar to a MacBook, with a puffle clearly being the logo instead of an apple. This may be because of Disney's close relationship with Apple (through Pixar's ex-chief executive Steve Jobs), and this may be a reference to it.
