Rendering Item Images

Hey, Hat Pop.

Did you give the method on this image guide a try? It doesn't use SwfModify or SWiX, so as long as you can download Kurst SWF Renderer, you should be fine. For the icon images, you can use this file. It works similar to how the player card and in-game files work. If you run into any issues or have any questions, let me know.

Re: Icon Images

You have to rename the icon SWF to "item". The reason it's "item0" for the player card and in-game SWFs is because they can actually load multiple item SWFs (in case you ever need an image of a penguin with multiple items worn) by naming them item0, item1, item2, and so on. For the icon SWF, it's simply "item" because it can only load one item. However, if you would like to set it so that the icon SWF loads the item SWF as "item0" as well, you can use JPEXS to change "item" to "item0" in the ActionScript code. It's really up to whatever you want to name it though, as long as you set it to load the file under that name.

Advice needed!

Hi there, I was nearly banned from saving an edit to the page on the Pet Shop Owner as it was deemed 'dangerous', but all I did was to add the word 'she'... Upload error

Hi, HP. I'm here to talk about the files' upload. On the PT wiki, many users, including me, are having problems to upload, appearing errors on the internal server, and another ones after the image be uploaden, like it autodelete and reapear sometimes. Do you know how to fix it? PS: Sorry my bad English.

Deletion Requests

Hello Hat Pop, long time no talk! Anyway, I've just realised that some of the files I've uploaded could get us into legal trouble (yeah, I really should have thought and researched before uploading), so could you delete the following - File:YARGHPHONEDONTWORK.jpg, File:IfafriendagreesthatCPhasanotherhorribleparty.jpg, File:What pic to choose at a horrible party.jpg, File:SRSLYCP2.jpg and File:SRSLYCP.jpg. Also, could you identify this item for me? It looks like a dark blue Ninja belt, but it is worn on the penguin's head and has a light blue plaque on it, with the symbol of water. Thanks! I was looking for a specific CP comic (about a lime green penguin tricking two penguins to go into his igloo, which has an imaginary electric cage), but I can't find it on the wiki. Does the page about it exist? It can be seen in the real-life book Club Penguin Comics (Volume One), and shows a slightly edited version of the X-TREME JETPACK HYDRO-HOPPER on the cover. Vandalism

Yesterday, 5 pages were vandalised by anonymous editors by removing random parts of text. I reverted the vandalism, but after that, the vandals came back and reverted my edits WITHOUT ADDING A REASON. Please protect the pages, block the IPs (however, doing that is not very useful, as there were multiple ones, and the vandal may have more) and disable editing for IPs, if it is possible. --Quackerpingu (talk) 10:26, 2 January 2018 (UTC)

I've just dealt with this guy myself. It seems like he's just a troll who keeps changing his IP address by the sounds of it. Protecting these pages or disabling editing for IP anon users sounds like the best option. Callum Fawsitt (talk) 02:57, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
