What is Planet Polar Bear?
Planet Polar Bear is an upcoming game that has been in production since 2004. It will be a multiplayer online role-playing game (MORPG). The game will allow players to own and control their own polar bear. They can chat with other players, play tons of minigames, unlock lots of secrets, and more!
Entire History
Chat
Players will be allowed to chat with other players. Inappropriately using the chatbar will result in termination of chatting rights for a certain amount of time. If you misuse the chatbar within one month after the termination, you will be banned from playing the game for a certain amount of time.
Anything involving swearing, disrespect, or sexual language will result in termination of the chatbar. Those words will be filtered so that other players can't see them.
Friends and Best Friends
Players can add other players to their "Friends" list. You will be able to see when your friends are online, which room they're in, and even have access to their homes. You can even see when the last time they logged on was. 100 people can be added to this list.
The "Best Friends" list can hold up to 10 players. You can see your best friends' items, how much money they have, who their friends are, share money, private message, and all the features of a normal "Friend".
Cash
Players can earn money from jobs and minigames. Cash can be used to purchase clothing, homes, and other everyday objects. Cash can be shared with anybody on your "Best Friends" list.
Private Messaging
You can private message players on your "Best Friends" list. This can be useful if they're offline and you want to tell them something. This feature will work if the player is online as well. The same rules for chatting apply for private messaging. Breaking the rules will result in termination of private messaging rights.
Minigames and Jobs
If you want something even more fun to do, you can play a minigame or get a temporary job! There will be lots of games to play and some will hold many secrets that can unlock more secrets! If you want a little more challenge, you can get a temporary job! You can be a candy maker, cargo collector, and more! These will provide you with limitless fun! Hint: You will earn more cash with jobs.
Homes
Every polar bear must have a home. You will be able to pick from a large selection of homes, each one with a different price. The more cash you bring in, the better home you can get! You can fill up your home with lots of furniture and appliances, or just keep it simple. There will be many options that will allow you to customize your home!
Clothing
You can buy clothing for your bear! It can be formal and serious, or maybe fun and wacky! You will have lots of clothes to choose from!
Needs
Polar bears can't just live off of ice and air. They need food, sleep, water, and more. You can dine out at the Sunshine Pizza shop, or enjoy a meal at home. Be sure to buy a bed for your bear, too!
If you neglect your bear, it won't want to play games, or even chat! Don't worry, they only nap for about 10 seconds, so you won't be stuck waiting for your bear to wake up! Also, the needs don't go down very fast, so you'll have lots of time to do whatever you want before you have to feed your bear or let it sleep for a bit.
Premium Bear
You will have an option to purchase a premium account. With this, you will have the ability to buy homes and clothes that are exclusive to premium bears. You will also have access to certain rooms and certain parts of certain minigames.
You do not have to purchase a premium account to buy clothes, homes, etc. Premium accounts just allow you to open up more doors and experience a different gameplay experience. We want the game to be fair and fun for everyone.
Badges
You can earn badges by doing special (and sometime ridiculous) tasks. Once you finish a task, you will get a nice shiny badge on your badge board along with a cash reward!
- Easy Task: $100 in Polar Cash
- Medium Task: $500 in Polar Cash
- Difficult: $1000 in Polar Cash
- Very Difficult: $1500 in Polar Cash
- Extremely Difficult: $2000 in Polar Cash
- Almost Impossible: $5000 in Polar Cash
