The Gold Medal is a neck item in Club Penguin. It was available to both non-members and members during the Penguin Games in 2008. It is uncommon. Unlike many free items during parties, which are usually found in Free Item Stands or hidden in a room, you actually needed to win in the three competitions to receive the free item. It is also unlockable when you transfer it from Club Penguin: Game Day!.
