Club Penguin Animated Shorts are cartoons made by Disney under Club Penguin. First introduced in December 2011, new episodes were released frequently, but a new one hasn't been released in over a year. There are currently seven episodes, each approximately two minutes long. The episodes are primarily on Club Penguin's YouTube channel, but they occasionally air on Disney Channel and Disney XD.

History

From its very beginnings, Club Penguin had always wanted to make cartoons. Some of their early advertisements featured animation, but were limited compared to those that came ahead (ex. no penguins talked) [citation needed]. Disney's purchase of the franchise had made their animated success become plausible: and on December 3, 2011, Club Penguin released their first animated short, titled Never Wake a Sleeping Sensei.
