The Buttercup is a wig in Club Penguin. It was an exclusive item in the Series 8 Treasure Book, where it could be unlocked. It goes with the Pastel Beaded Necklace and the Pastel Petal Dress. Similar items include The Cotton Candy, The Fire Flicker, The Frost, The Snow Fall and The Water Ripple.

History

The Buttercup was released on April 19, 2010 as an exclusive item in the Series 8 Treasure Book, and could be unlocked by anybody using a Club Penguin series 8 toy code. It was available until all of the old Treasure Books were removed on October 4, 2011. It is a common item, but is very unpopular and isn't seen very often.
