New Horizon Interactive is the creator company of Club Penguin. It was created by Lance Priebe (Rsnail) and Lane Merrifield (Billybob) in 2005 and was originally called New Horizon Productions. Their headquarters is in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Their website can be found here (although the link now redirects to ClubPenguin.com).

To become a staff member, you must live in Canada, near Kelowna; British Columbia, and be over 18 years of age.

Buyout

In 2007, New Horizon Interactive was bought out by Disney, so Disney may have more games to their collection. The sale was approximately $350 Million.
