The Three Dimensional Glasses (or 3D Glasses) is a face item in Club Penguin. They first appeared in October 2005, costing 70 coins. Its price was later reduced to 50 coins. It was re-released almost 5 years later in the July 2010 Penguin Style as a hidden item.
Trivia
- They can be purchased in Elite Penguin Force.
- They appear to have Blue and Red inner pieces, as oppose to the popular Green/Cyan and Red.
- In the comic Threeeee Deeeeeee, the Old Blue Penguin wears the glasses and sees his friend in 3-D, which would be impossible as he is a real 2-D character.
- Because it came back out in July 2010, it is not considered rare anymore.
- Many rare penguins were angry that they came back, while non-rare penguins are delighted.
- It is considered as a normal item now.
- It seems to be an easily made item, probably why it was only worth 50 coins.
- When dancing, the colours of the lenses change sides.
