The Candy Cane Hat is a free item given away in a postcard around the Holiday Party 2009. The only way to obtain it was if someone sent you the postcard. The postcard looked like, and probably was, a gift box. It had a big red ribbon and yellow-orange Puffle decorations. If you clicked on it, the Candy Cane Hat appeared and there was a tag saying 'Receive Gift'. Click on that and you will obtain it once you click 'Yes'.
Trivia
- It is quite similar to the Stocking Cap.
- It's quite rare, as it's not seen often.
- During the Disney Christmas Day Parade (filmed December 6, 2009 at Magic Kingdom), Rockhopper was seen with a light blue penguin, wearing the Candy Cane Hat and the Candy Cane Scarf. The penguin could be Bambadee．
- Some penguins used their other account to send it to themselves.
- Some Mwa Mwa Penguins use this hat.
- In 2009 when the Candy Cane Hat came out, many penguins wore this hat instead of the Stocking Cap with the Long Johns.
- Once this postcard was removed, you could no longer receive the Candy Cane Hat. Currently, if attempted to obtain this item (if you don't already have it), it says the item is unavailable.
