Ok. The first things you need to know about to make a good article are templates. There are many templates that point out many different things. However, the only need about 2 templates to start any good article. If you don't have a lot of information about the item you're making an article for, always put the {{Stub}} template. It basically says that the article is lacking info, so more experienced users might come and expand the article.

The most important template that an article has is the Infobox. There is a different infobox for every different type of page. If you want to know more about the {{CharacterInfobox}}, and what info to put in the infobox, go here. The actual infobox isn't on this page because it would add this page to the category "Items", which you'll learn about later. Infobox goes here

After you finish your infobox, you can write a small paragraph about the item. Below is a good example from the page Party Hat. However, if there is a similar item elsewhere on the wiki, put ''Not to be confused with [[Article Name]].'' directly under the template before you start you paragraph.

The Party Hat (also known as the Beta Hat) is a collectible free item first available during Beta Testing. It was the first party hat and the first free item in Club Penguin, aswell as the first clothing item that wouldn't be taken away after beta testing. It was also the item that was available for the shortest period of time; for only a couple hours. Similar items are 1st Year Party Hat, 2nd Year Party Hat, 3rd Year Party Hat, 4th Year Party Hat, 5th Year Party Hat and 6th Anniversary Hat.

After you finish your paragraph, it's time to start your history section. To title the section, put == History ==. The same goes for all sections, except if they are subheadings, add an extra equal sign = to each side of the word(s). Right under "History" is where you put if and when it was ever a popular item.

History

The Item was very popular during the Blankity Blank Party. It was mostly worn by Such and Such penguins.

Ok. After you complete that you add your Release History Sub-Section. As I said before, a normal sub-section gets 1 extra equal sign on each side of the word, which in this case is "Release History". Under the sub-heading, you have to create an info chart. There is no template for it, so you have to Ctrl+C it off of somewhere. Now that you have the chart ctrl+c'd from somewhere, all you have to do is "Ctrl+V" it onto the desired page where you want it. Please note that if you don't know all of it's release dates that it's a good idea to add the {{Expansion}} template above the chart.
