Lighthouse
The Lighthouse of Club Penguin is situated at the beach. Once you enter, you will see the hall. On the top of your screen, there will be stairs. On the walls are pictures of maps, penguins, the Lighthouse, the Beach and Rockhopper. Go up these stairs and you will be in the Beacon (a much quicker way is to click on the arrow pointing left on the top of the stairs stating "To Top", which in turn transports you straight to the Beacon. On the right is the telescope where you can be the first to see Rockhopper's ship, in the middle is the light and on the right is the launchpad where you can take a flight with a jet pack (Jet Pack Adventure). The Lighthouse is also the tallest building in Club Penguin.
History
Before the Lighthouse opened in September, according to Rockhopper, it was flooded in a storm sometime 2 years before 2006 (most likely 2004), however Club Penguin managed to raise enough money to open the Lighthouse through the fund in The Penguin Times. The Lighthouse was opened in September of 2006, it opened with a 3-day party. The free item was a red sailor's cap. The night before it opened, workers worked for quite a few hours to fit in the light. The Band played to celebrate.
