We Wish You a Merry Walrus is a Christmas special show produced by Factory[1]. It follows a seafaring penguin named Roofhowse, who finds himself wrapped up in an unexpected festive adventure on Club Penguin island during the Merry Walrus Party. It has 22 minutes and will premiere on December 17 at 6:30 PM on Disney Channel UK. The director is Tobias Fouracre, the creative producer is Matt Danner and the writers are Martin Olson and Christopher Painter. Besides English, the TV special will be translated to French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch[2].

Official Synopsis

Set on Merry Walrus Eve, the story follows a seafaring penguin named Roofhowse who arrives at Club Penguin Island only to find himself wrapped up in an unexpected festive adventure! Following a magical Blue Crystal Puffle, Roofhowse and his new friends journey to the fabled Merry Walrus Island and learn that they must band together to stop their favourite holiday celebration from being silenced forever.

History

On November 20, 2014, the first image and a simple plot of the TV special was revealed on the internet. On November 24, the Factory website revealed some information about the show and the Holiday Party 2014 and two backstage photos. On December 2, the first "making of" video was posted on Club Penguin's Youtube channel. On December 9, the second part of the "making of" video was posted, saying more about the style of animation, the stopmotion.
