The Black MP3000 is similar to the MP3000, except that it is colored black. Players can only obtain this item through the Treasure Book, as it never was available anywhere else on Club Penguin. Although it is not a members only item, it requires a coin code to be bought.

Trivia

• When players dance with it on music notes will float above you. Unlike most items, players don't have to wear only the MP3000 to do this.
• Black MP3000s are rare due to their exclusivity.
