The Cave, also known as the Pool, is a secret area under the Plaza. It can be accessed from a green door in the Boiler Room, a manhole in the Plaza, or from the Mine. The Cave has a swimming pool in it. The Cave used to be an empty room under Club Penguin. It opened in May 2006 when the Underground opened. At first it had a sign that said "NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY." Then, at the Summer Kickoff Party 2007, they put a lifeguard chair there.
Trivia
When the party was over the sign was removed, but the chair is still there. Also, when the storm was nearing Club Penguin, the glass was broken by a crab and had a leak. Despite repairs to fix the broken window, the Underground was closed during the Waddle on Water Party due to flooding. It is now up and running again. The water in the pool was replaced with slime during Halloween 2007. creatures featured in Ice fishing swim by. During the 2007 egg hunt an easter egg could be found floating by.
During the 2008 Medival Party, the cave was transformed into a treasure hold which the dragon in the mine was guarding.
Pin
There has been a pin there three times. One time a pin was on the lifeguard's chair, another was a teddy bear pin and it was in the center of the pool, and during the 2007 Halloween party, a spider pin would come down from the ceiling on a web.
