Rooms - I don't want to use my keyboard to do this review... - 0/10

Items - Cute, but many recolors. And, as usually, nonmembers get only one item, to wear for every day. - 3/10

One sixth of the year and not so good

This party... where do I start... well, first of all, my initial impression was not at all good. CP was in the process of updating way too early, causing many, many bugs. Many still persist. The interface still does not even work, for gosh sake. Way too rushed. The party itself is less than decent. Room designs are reused, even the two party rooms from the Hollywood Party are COMPLETELY copied over, but serve no function at all. The sky is completely silly, it just slowly fades between rooms (Dock and Forest). Is there some wacky solar eclipse? What is happening? And there is even LESS rooms decorated this time. Soon, only the Town will be decorated, I bet.

The free items are okay, except the totallynotSkrillexhair bugs me. At least the items (for the most part) are fresh and not recolors of existing items, and some are actually kinda nice looking. That is really all I like about the party. However, CP lied, claiming Cadence and the PB would be meetable, even saying so in the newspaper, but today, it has been announced they will not be waddling around, which I imagine would be disappointing for many. Such a blatant lie is pretty low, although it arguably could be worse.

The concept for the party's tasks in playing music are fine in theory, but when played out, they are very simple, require no effort, and are very monotonous. Nothing but clicking buttons over and over, waiting for a while for the song to finish, and doing it seven more times. At the end you are supposed to receive a cool looking hoodie, but of course, CP glitching prevented this from being obtainable in the first place, as when you perform for Cadence in all genres, nothing happens. Good job, Club Penguin...

I could go on and on on why I dislike this party, how it is purely to advertise an app that probably will be quite lackluster, and more, but I will end this for now. All in all, the only thing I really like about the party is some of the items. The "guests" got a chuckle out of me though, but that does not make up for much at all. We are already one sixth through the year, and Club Penguin is not looking too good. The Puffle Party is probably going to be an excuse to release more unnecessary puffles, too...

The SoundStudio Party sucks! Are CP tone deaf?

This February, Club Penguin promoted a glamorous and musical event for penguins to participate in. What I think, it's very very far from being a satisfactory party. How am I not surprised?

Decorations - The SoundStudio's decorations are very below par, especially in comparison with the previous party - The Star Wars Rebel Takeover which is surprising! Some of the decorations are quite unique, however what let this party down is copying the designs of rooms from the Hollywood Party in 2012. The Plaza, Coffee Shop and Stage all use very similar designs which were used for the Hollywood Party, this is disappointing as these rooms make up nearly half of the rooms which are truly decorated for this party. When I first logged into Club Penguin for this party, I noticed a nice dark sky for this party. However, this sky hasn't be used in other rooms around the island. To make sense of this for the party, Club Penguin have shown the sky changing color in rooms like the Dock and Forest. When I say this I don't mean to sound mean, but this is very very lazy by Club Penguin.

Visiting Mascot/s - For this party, the Club Penguin Times promised that Cadence and the Penguin Band would be appearing at the party to meet penguins. However, a reply email from Club Penguin Support says otherwise. They say that Cadence and the Penguin Band wouldn't be appearing at this party. This is very deceitful of Club Penguin. I'm not quite sure if this is a mistake or not, but I find it wrong that Club Penguin promoted the SoundStudio Party with false claims. Club Penguin should've at least allowed one character to attend this party at least to improve my rating for this party.

Tasks - For as a long as I can remember, Club Penguin have used tasks to at least attempt to make a party seem entertaining, this was done very well by the Halloween Party 2014. However, for this party Club Penguin haven't even bothered to do that! The only task for this party is click on squares in sequence and get free items. This task seems even more repetitive than previous parties in Club Penguin. To show my disappointment for the tasks for this party, I can confidently say these tasks are worse than those used for the Merry Walrus Party!

Story - There is no story for this party, Club Penguin are truly starting to lose their once great party reputation in my mind. That is all.

Free item - A feature which usually makes a party popular is the free items, which also allows non-members to get some cool looking items. However for this party, non-members can only get one or two items which is very little in comparison with the free items given out to less recent parties in Club Penguin.
