The Squid Lid is a head item that won a vote for a future party item on the What's New Blog^[1]. It is an Orange Octopus that is on your penguin's head. It is found in Rockhopper's Rare Items.

It looks like the squid from Puffle Rescue which is probably what is is derived from.
Many were disappointed because it was not the free item at the Island Adventure Party.
