Starting May 1st, 2009, penguins who were Secret Agents and/or Tour Guides began to receive 250 coins per job each month for doing their "jobs". Their salaries are paid through Penguin Mail. This information was first confirmed by Billybob, and later by The Club Penguin Times (found in issue #184).
Trivia
- If a penguin is both a Tour Guide and a Secret Agent, they receive a total of 500 coins.
- Even if a penguin has no activity whatsoever of their job, they will still get paid.
- You will earn 3000 coins per salary every year, and if you have 2 salaries, then you will get 6000 coins.
- Jet Pack Guy might be the Agent on the Agent Salary.
- Some penguins wish ninjas got paid.
- The Tour Guide on the Tour Guide Paycheck, is probably the penguin on clubpenguin.com
