Non-members are penguins that do not pay a subscribed membership. They conform approximately 2/3 of the population of Club Penguin.
What non-members can do
- Buy colors and backgrounds.
- Obtain free items given away at parties, become secret agents and tour guides.
- Wear pins, found hidden on the island.
- Buy blue and red puffles.
- Own a maximum of two puffles.
- Go anywhere in Club Penguin, excluding "members-only" rooms during a party.
- Chat.
- Play mini-games.
- If you buy a Club Penguin toy, book, or trading card game, then you receive a code that can unlock some items previously only avaliable to members.
What non-members can't do
- Enter "members-only" room during a party.
- Buy clothing, furniture, wigs, or igloo upgrades.
- Own more than two puffles.
- Open their igloos to the public.
Trivia
- Some non-members prefer to use CP Trainer or WPE Pro to obtain a membership, instead of paying money. However, if you get caught doing this, your penguin will be banned.
- When members become non-members, all of their member items (excluding puffles) are taken out of their account until they renew their membership.
