Club Penguin Wiki:To-do list

This is the Club Penguin Wiki's to-do list. As this is a collaborative project, we expect everyone to contribute collectively to make this wiki full of useful information. The tasks below are all listed to improve the wiki in one way or the other, but we need a team effort to achieve it.

Tasks will be put into their corresponding section and you can sign up by listing your name next to it. Each user participating should have a status, if they are regularly working on the task, if they have put it on hold temporarily or if they have stopped the task. Complete tasks should be indicated, and will be put in the archive after a week. You can suggest tasks on the talk page or if you have been given approval by an admin, you can add it immediately.

This system was taken from the Ratchet & Clank wiki and Final Fantasy Wiki and was modified. Again, all credit goes to the Ratchet & Clank wiki and Final Fantasy Wiki for this idea. The format and layout was also taken from the Ratchet & Clank wiki.

Legend

The system uses a color system to indicate the status of the user(s) working on the task.

Status	Code	Meaning
In progress	{{progress}}	Is regularly being worked on.
On hold	{{hold}}	Has been stopped temporarily however work will resume soon.
Stopped	{{stopped}}	Stopped due to lack of information, time or will. May still update but is not working on it regularly at all.
Complete	{{complete}}	Task is completed (remember to strikethrough the task objective).

Articles

1	! Update articles when Club Penguin updates	In progress
Most of our edits come when Club Penguin updates on Wednesday/Thursday, but we require lots of users to be able to do this effectively and efficiently as we have lots of items, rooms and party pages to edit. If you are willing to help out with this and are available when Club Penguin updates, do not hesitate!

2	Add proper history sections to every item article.	In progress
Examples of these can be found on many pages already but a significant number of our articles still require this. We need complete item release dates. Text in the history section should state when the item first made its debut, the number of reappearances and the date of the most recent appearance.

Have nothing to do? Go through the "Maintenance Reports" section on the Special Pages and see what articles need creation, what needs to be categorized, and more. These pages almost always have something that needs fixing!

5	Archive old pages under the Club Penguin Wiki namespace	In progress
Old pages under the Club Penguin Wiki namespace should be archived by moving the page from Club Penguin Wiki:PAGENAME to Club Penguin Wiki:Archive/PAGENAME. If possible, don't leave a redirect. While you're at it, also add the {{ArchiveCPW}} template to the page. We also need some old pages from Wikia before we moved to be imported here. There are some important pages from the past that would be good to keep. Please only do this if you know our history well as not everything back then was considered important, even if it seems interesting to read.

6	History portal	On hold
Expand the history portal and transform it so it becomes like a yearbook. If you were a part of the wiki in any year and you think your contributions that year were important enough that they would be remembered for years to come, add an old picture of your penguin or your avatar to the appropriate year! Please note that admins have final word over who should be in the yearbook photos. Year in review sections need to be written and a list of important dates needs to be generated. This task is best for you if you were a part of our wiki 2011 or earlier.
