The School & Skate Party was a party on Club Penguin. It started on September 17, 2014 and ended on October 1, 2014. It was a celebration in time for many users heading back to school. During the party, you could clean up school supplies, place them in your backpack, and win prizes: this would give back and help less fortunate kids. [1] The Skatepark room was also opened up during this party.

The party was confirmed on August 29, 2014, on the What's New Blog and on Club Penguin's Facebook page[2][3]. On September 3, the membership page was updated revealing that members could buy skates, outfits and a new igloo and do tricks in the Skatepark. On the same day, the Club Penguin's mainpage, login and exit screens were updated with new ads.

On September 10, the Portuguese blogger Tulip4zul posted a sneak peek of the Stage[4]. The charity and youth movement Free the Children created a website about its partnership with Club Penguin for the party[5]. On September 11, Spanish blogger Tato Maxx posted a video about the construction of schools in Ecuador, India and Haiti[6]. On September 17, a sneak peek video of the party was posted on Club Penguin's YouTube channel.

Free Items[edit]

A total of twenty-one free items were made available for this party. Items marked with a badge (Memberbadge.png) indicate that the item can only be obtained by member players.
