The Pirate Party 2014 was a party on Club Penguin. It started on November 19, 2014 and ended on December 4, 2014. This was the first pirate-related party since 2012's Rockhopper's Quest, and the first with the Pirate Party name since 2007.

History[edit]

Development[edit]

The party was hinted at on October 27, 2014, in a blog post from the What's New Blog,[1] followed up by a post on November 3, 2014 confirming the party.[2] On November 13, the Russian Club Penguin's twitter posted a sneak peek of the Beach during the party, with a destroyed Migrator in the background.[3] On the same day, Megg posted a sneak peek of the Crab Battle.[4]

In-game[edit]

On November 6, the Migrator became visible from the Beacon Telescope. A week later, it became closer, revealing that there were some pirate crabs that took control of the ship. On the same week, the Club Penguin Times issue #473 showed an old bottled message from Rockhopper saying that he's going to make a quick stop at Swashbuckler Trading Post to drink some cream soda. He also said that there are always some pirate crabs waiting him to tell tales of adventure and, this time, he'll be telling them about the Club Penguin Island. The Migrator arrived with the Crabs on November 19, 2014.
