The Mountain Expedition was a party in Club Penguin. It began on August 12, 2010 and it was supposed to end on the 18th, but ended on the 19th. Some rooms are the Supply Camp, Ice Cavern, and the Toughest Mountain. It was first confirmed in the 250th issue of the Club Penguin Times.

It had also been confirmed, from a comment on the What's New Blog, that it was not going to be hosted on the Tallest Mountain.

There were three free items during this event. The first was the Chilly Trek Hat, available at the Supply Camp, the second was a members-only background for taking a photo on top of the mountain, and the third was a Red Flag for reaching the top of the mountain. Non-members could only go as far as the Supply Camp. There was a hidden Cave somewhere on the way to the top.

After you climbed the Mountain, a ladder would be at the Supply Camp and if you climbed it you would be straight at the top. Also, a red button would appear at the icicle puzzle and if you pressed it, the puzzle would automatically be solved.

Decorations[edit]

A lot of decorations returned from the Festival of Flight.

Town[edit]

The Town was barely decorated.

It had blue and orange balloons.
It had cardboard cutouts of mountains and clouds.
A banner was hanging over the Coffee Shop that said Mountain Expedition.

Plaza[edit]

The Plaza was decorated like the Town.

It had blue and orange balloons.
It had cardboard cutouts of mountains and clouds.

Ski Village[edit]

The Ski Village was decorated more since it was the main room of the party.

It had the entrance to the Supply Camp.
It had a fire and chairs, the more people near the fire, the bigger the fire grew.
There was a snowman wearing sunglasses.
There was a table full of food.
It had orange and blue balloons.
It had a cardboard cutout of a mountain.
