Club Penguin Timeline

This is a timeline of all society and penguin related events pertaining to Club Penguin Island and its inhabitants. It has nothing to do with the physical history of Club Penguin Island, or the history of Club Penguin as a business or game.

2005

March 7	Rockhopper completes the Migrator Rockhopper sails away from Club Penguin Island for the first time.
May 27	Rockhopper finds an island which he names Rockhopper Island.
June 9	Rockhopper adopts Yarr.
September 22	Beta Test Party
October 24	After hours of testing and construction more penguins start moving in.
October 28	Halloween Party 2005
December 14	Penguins start rounding up puffles at the Snow Forts.
December 25	Christmas Party 2005
December 30	New levels are added to Astro Barrier.

2010

May 29, EPF Command Room was built.

2012

Date	Event(s)
June 14	The Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 begins. The Book Room got a new permanent design as the "Club Penguin Times Office" (the official name did not change though).
October 3	The Puffle Bat Key pin is released, marking the first appearance of a Puffle Bat.
October 17	The Halloween Party 2012 begins. First sighting of real Puffle Bat (not on a pin).
October 22	7th Anniversary Party until the 24th.
November 1	The design of the Night Club, Gift Shop, and Pizza Parlor are updated. Also, the name of the Gift Shops was officially changed to "Clothes Shop" (and the name "Dance Club" became a common usage for the Night Club).
November 14	Operation: Blackout begins when Herbert destroys the Everyday Phoning Facility. Herbert becomes an official mascot.
December 6	Herbert is defeated by EPF Agents, and penguins regain control of the island. The designs of the Ski Village, Beach, Dock, Town, Snow Forts and Plaza were updated (allegedly by Rory).
December 13	First sighting of a Reindeer Puffle in an ad for the Holiday Party 2012.
December 20	The Holiday Party 2012 begins.
December 25	Arctic White becomes obtainable, making it the first new color that didn't have a color vote.

2013

January 4	Gary announces the Time Trekker 3000 and the it would be used to go back to prehistoric times. Aunt Arctic starts wearing a pink sweater.
January 17	The Time Trekker 3000 is used for the first time for the Prehistoric Party.
January 24	Dinosaurs start escaping into modern Club Penguin. Cadence announces the Hollywood Party.
February 14	The Hollywood Party begins. Club Penguin High 3 begins filming. Gary returns to make special effects for the Hollywood Party. Sensei visits to teach penguins how to stunt for movies.
February 16	High-Speed Getaway begins filming
February 17	Return of the Space Squid begins filming
February 21	The Awards Show begins and hands out Bronze Awards.
February 23	Silver Awards start being handed out at the Awards Show
February 24	Gold Awards start being handed out at the Awards Show
February 28	The Hollywood Party ends. Red Nose Day begins at the Coffee Shop. PH announces the Puffle Hotel and the discovery of the Rainbow Puffle. The EPF Reconstruction begins.
March 7	Construction of the Puffle Hotel begins.
March 21	The Puffle Party begins The Puffle Hotel is completed.
April 5	Herbert steals Hot Sauce from the Pizza Parlor. The Pizza Party is canceled due to these events. Operation: Hot Sauce begins.
April 17	The Hot Sauce is retrieved back to the Pizza Parlor. Crystals Sprout across Club Penguin Island.
April 25	The Marvel Super Hero Takeover begins. Ultimate Proto-Bot 10,000 attempts to take over Club Penguin Island.

2014

January 2	Coins For Change 2013 ends with all the goals completed.
January 9	A carving from Prehistoric Times is found in the Snow Forts and is examined by Gary.
Jan. 23-Feb. 5	The Time Trekker 3000 can now be used again to go to Prehistoric Times. Gary waddles around for the occasion.
January 23	The stegosaurus and raptor are discovered. Members can now adopt Dino Puffles. Backyards are added. Dino Puffles may dig up exclusive items now. The Forest is changed due to time travel. The Ski Hill is renovated. Gary adopts Darwin.
January 30	A shark is now seen every hour at the Iceberg.
April 10	Rockhopper drops off Blue Border Collies and Orange Tabby Cats.
April 17	The Puffle Party 2014 begins. The Puffle Park opens. Puffles may now perform tricks. Puffle Creatures can now dig up exclusive hoodies. Members may now adopt Blue Border Collies and Orange Tabby Cats. Funny Hat Week is announced in the Club Penguin Times.
May 1	The Puffle Party 2014 ends. Funny Hat Week begins.
May 8	Gary returns from the year 4014.
May 15	Gary begins construction on a Time Portal at the Snow Forts. It's revealed that the Ultimate Proto-Bot 10,000 rebuilt himself in the future and is attacking with meteors.
May 22	Penguins travel to the year 4014 to save the destruction of the island from Proto-Bot.
May 29	Proto-Bot arrives and attacks in Space. The Penguin Cup is mentioned by Tourdude 3000.
June 5	Proto-Bot is defeated in the future. The Time Portal is closed and put into the Box Dimension. The Penguin Cup is announced by Aunt Arctic in the Club Penguin Times.
June 12	Franky mentions the upcoming Music Jam and that Cadence is going to bring in special guests. The Penguin Prom begins
June 19	The Penguin Prom ends. The Penguin Cup begins.
June 26	Cadence reveals that there will be an after party celebration after the Penguin Cup.
July 3	The Sharks win the first Penguin Cup. Cadence announces a new game called SoundStudio.
July 10	Cadence confirms that Cole Plante, Zendaya, Violetta and Sabrina Carpenter would perform on the Music Cruise with her and the Penguin Band.
Jul. 17-Jul. 30	The Music Jam 2014 takes place. Cadence and the Penguin Band waddle around the island.
July 17	Cadence and the Penguin Band start performing Best Day Ever at the Main Stage. SoundStudio is released and replaces DJ3K in the Night Club.
July 19	Violetta starts performing Hoy Somos Más at the Main Stage.
July 21	Cole Plante starts performing his remix of Puffle Party (Gotta Have a Wingman) at the Main Stage.
July 23	Sabrina Carpenter starts performing Can't Blame a Girl for Trying at the Main Stage.
July 24	The Turbo Race 3000 is announced in the Club Penguin Times.
July 25	Zendaya starts performing Replay at the Main Stage.
Jul. 31-Aug. 6	The Turbo Race 3000 takes place at the Stadium.
August 7	The Frozen Party is mentioned in the Club Penguin Times as a Summer Party.
Aug. 9-Aug. 20	A mysterious creature roams around the island.
August 14	Aunt Arctic confirms that Elsa, Anna and Olaf will visit for the upcoming Frozen Party. Sensei tells about a prophecy that was set to unfold in the summertime, although because it's secret, penguins must find out the truth themselves.
Aug. 21-Sep. 3	Frozen Party takes place around the island. Members can create and adopt Snowman Puffles.
August 27	Elsa completes her new Ice Palace and opens it up.
September 4	Elsa, Anna and Olaf return to Arendelle. The Skatepark is confirmed to open up September 18 in the Club Penguin Times.
September 11	Rookie begins to set up the School & Skate Party. Rookie plans to construct schools for unfortunate children. Jet Pack Guy confirms that Klutzy found Herbert.
Sep. 18-Oct. 2	The School & Skate Party takes place. Rookie waddles around for the occasion.
October 2	The Halloween Party and 9th Anniversary Party are confirmed in the Club Penguin Times. Thanks to the School & Skate Party, school-building projects are started in Ecuador, Haiti, India.
October 16	The Puffle Hotel Lobby gets haunted by a [[ SoundStudio is updated with a new Halloween-related genre. Gary confirms that his great uncle would visit for the Halloween Party.
Oct. 23-Nov. 5	The Halloween Party takes place. Gary waddles around for the occasion. Sometime prior to this, Skip started pretending to work at the Puffle Hotel.
October 23	The Puffle Hotel grows by 13 floors overnight. The island is haunted by Ghost Puffles controlled by Skip. Gariwald goes missing.
October 30	Herbert manages to steal submersible blueprints from Gary's lab.
November 5	Gariwald is found. The Ghost Puffles are set free. Skip is defeated.
November 13	In an old message found in a bottle, it's confirmed that Rockhopper accidently set up the island for attack by a gang of pirate crabs.
Nov. 20-Dec. 4	The Pirate Party occurs. Rockhopper waddles around for the occasion.
November 20	Crab pirates crash the Migrator and invade the island.
November 27	Rockhopper makes fake treasure maps to mislead the crab pirates and corner them. Rockhopper starts to design his 3rd Migrator. Puffle Handler ventures into The Wilderness in search for a new species of puffles.'
December 4	The crab pirates leave in search for fake treasure from one of Rockhopper's fake maps. Puffle Handler discovers new Puffle Creatures in The Wilderness. The Merry Walrus Party is confirmed to replace the Holiday Party this year.
December 10	Sometime prior to this date, Aunt Arctic found a Merry Walrus story book lying in the Forest.
